![]() ![]() And I couldn't load the Expansion pack, because it said the Sims file was already installed. Some stuff ended up back in the C: drive, and while I was able to download the patch, the launcher said it couldn't start and told me to check the log (which I couldn't find). (I've got the disks, not download programs). So I tried that, reinstalling using the "Custom Install" to send it to the drive. They just say to type into Custom Install. I've done a lot of web searches to see how to install to (step by step), but most of the results are not that helpful. I tried Locatus's suggestion uninstalled all the games (after making sure my saves, libraries, & original info were backed up elsewhere), cleaned out the registry (very carefully), following the EA "Manual Uninstall" thread. I'm bringing this up again, because I need more specific info, and the Master Help thread that Nichaedemus put together doesn't seem to address this specific issue. ![]()
